T he Forerunner Music Academy labors to produce singing theologians who are lovesick for Jesus and minister with authority in the Spirit—a multicultural company of prophetic singers, musicians and worship leaders that will fuel the praying church (day and night) with intercessory and prophetic worship.

What do I mean by Singing Theologians? Theology is the study of God (a system or school of opinions concerning God’s nature and religious belief). Within our context, Singing Theologians are prophetic musicians/singers that master 4 important branches of theology: Systematic Theology, Mystical Theology, Revival Theology and Eschatology (the study of the End Times).

Systematic Theology reveals what God is like; Mystical Theology explains how God feels; Revival Theology covers the ministry and breakthroughs of Holy Spirit and Eschatology uncovers what God will do in the coming days.

Let’s briefly unpack each one:

1. Systematic Theology: presents the knowledge of God. Who God is—his person, qualities and attributes. Raising our concept of God, and showing us the majesty and glory of the Father revealed in Jesus.
2. Mystical Theology: take us deep into the revelation and experience of the love of God. The infinite and boundless ocean of God’s affections and His desire for humans.
3. Revival Theology: builds our faith for the move of the Spirit. Teaching us about past, present and future revivals. Including a revival of God’s glory that the nations will soon experience.
4. Eschatology: deals with the destiny and calling of the Man Christ Jesus—revealing the dramatic events (before and after) His second coming. Providing forerunner training for the years to come and explaining why we are called “Forerunner” Music Academy.

For who has stood in the counsel of the Lord, and has perceived and heard His word? – Jer. 23: 18 (See also: 1 Kings 22.19-23)

As singing theologians, one of our goals is to stand in the counsel of the Lord (that heavenly meeting), to see and hear God’s word. To know Him, understand His ways and communicate His works to this generation (using music, songs, preaching, arts, media, etc).
